Equipment
The supplies that a pediatrician uses are the basic tools any doctor uses. These tools are scales, sphygmomanometer, thermometore, stethoscope, otoscope, opthalmoscope, and other tools that depend on the situation that the kids are at the doctor. The scales help the pediatrician discover if the kid is over-weight. The sphygmomanometer helps the pediatrician see what the kid's blood pressure is. The thermometore lets the pediatrician know the kid's temperature, so the pediatrician makes sure it's in the right track. The stethoscope is the tool that allows the pediatrician to hear the child's heart beat and lungs. The otoscope allows the pediatrician to see inside a kid's ear to see if the child has any infection. The opthalmoscope lets the pediatrician check the kid's eyes to see if there's any sort of strange infection going on. All of these tools help the pediatrician to determine if the child is sick and needs help.
